Dayo Adewole, son of former Minister of Health, issac Adewole, has regained freedom and returned home, The PUNCH gathered.
According to the report, an aide to the former Minister confirmed that Dayo, who recent got wedded in Ibadan, was released this evening.
Omowaiye Oluremi, one of APC stalwarts in Ibadan, also confirmed the news of his release in a post seen by blinkzUPATE on his social media pages.
blinkzUPDATE reports that unknown gunmen on Tuesday evening abducted Dayo Adewole, who is the son of the immediate past Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole.
The police earlier on Wednesday said they had recovered the car used to abduct the younger Adewole and launched manhunt for the kidnappers.
The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 11 comprising Oyo, Osun and Ondo states, Leye Oyebade, while briefing journalists on Wednesday said three suspects had been arrested in connection to the kidnap..
The suspects arrested include the victim’s driver employed a few days ago, Gbenga Ogunleye; the farm manager, Sodiq Adebayo; and another worker on the farm.
