Oyo state government has confirmed another case of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed case to 18.
Governor Seyi Makinde, the head of Oyo COVID-19 taskforce stated this in a series of tweets on Friday.
He also said a total of 453 tests have been conducted at the COVID-19 drive-through/walk-through testing centre at Adamasingba Stadium.
OYO STATE COVID-19 TASK FORCE UPDATE (APRIL 24, 2020)
The COVID-19 confirmation test for one suspected case came back POSITIVE, today. This brings the number of active cases in Oyo State to six.
As at Friday April 24th, Oyo state has 18 confirmed cases of COVID-19, out of which 1 person died, 1 person was transferred to Lagos.
Ten persons were also discharged after testing negative twice while there are now 6 active cases in the state.
